...then look no further! Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve is a delightfully strong K-Cup and produces some of the strongest coffee I have yet to see come out of our Keurig! It is bold without being burnt, and though it doesn't have a complex flavor, it has a smooth finish making it drinkable before I have even opened my eyes in the morning. Being someone who drinks coffee several times a day, I very much appreciate that it is Organic and Fair Trade! Sure, drinking coffee that has come from hot water through plastic isn't the best for you, but it's something, right? Anyway, to my pros and cons list:

PROS
- Hands-down one of the best K-cups on the market
- Bold without being burnt
- Organic (double points for this)
- Fair Trade (triple points...)
- Relatively inexpensive
- Keurig Brewed (licensed)

CONS
- Not exactly complex
- Made me realize how much money I had wasted on previous "bold" and "dark" k-cups...

OVERALL
If you are looking for a straight up bold cup of coffee from your Keurig that is palatable and not bitter, THIS is the one for you. If you prefer more complex flavors, I suggest giving Caribou Coffee Obsidian a try (also from Green Mountain). As for me, this is my new go-to morning coffee when I'm in need of a good strong cup to help me wake and don't care so much about complex flavors.

Strength: 9/10
Value: 10/10

Highly recommended.

This is my favorite flavor for the Keurig. Very dark, rich flavor(but not a burnt flavor). Just smelling it would put me in a better mood. Highly recommend.

This K-Cup selection is the best tasting coffee I have ever had. It is bold with a delightful heavy flavor that will keep you coming back for more.

I drink my coffee black and like a simple full bodied taste. And Sumatran Extra hits the spot as a flavorful brew with little or no bitterness. It's not complex but I can detect a hint of spices on the back of my tongue and love that it's organically produced. In k-cup land Sumatran is considered a "dark extra bold" but it drinks like a delicious medium with no hint of "burnt" flavor. Heck, it even tastes good cold mixed in with dark stout beer. I've bought Sumatran from Macys, Amazon and directly from Keurig and it was always fresh and flavorful. The boxes I bought were always dated 6 to 8 months before the expiration date. Sumatran is up there with my other bold favorites, e.g., Kenyan AA, Tree Hugger, Amazonia and Jet Fuel.
